Kattun-White Xmas

Day1
Perth-Albany
Leaving Perth early, we head south into the vast Jarrah forest & southern wheatbelt area towards the historic and port City of Albany.
The journey takes us through the convict heritage towns before viewing the magnificent Stirling Ranges and Porongurup Ranges. We climb these ancient volcanic formations through stunning forests reaching the summit of ‘Castle Rock’ to take in the breath taking views, truly a photographer’s delight.

We continue our way into Western Australia’s first settlement. Here we stop at Middleton Beach and Mt Clarence to enjoy the exceptional views of King George Sound. Following the coastline of King George Sound we head for nearby Frenchman Bay to explore the imposing natural coastline features locally known as ‘The Gap’, ‘Natural Bridge’ and the famous blow holes.

Day 2
Albany – Pemberton
We continue on to the town of Denmark for a short break before arriving at the stunning Greens Pool.

Our next stop is the ‘Valley of the Giants’ which includes the elevated ‘Tree Top Walk’ with views of the dense Tingle Tree canopy.

We journey on to Pemberton, where you can take up the challenge and climb one of the famous Fire Tree lookouts (summer only).

Day 3
Pemberton – Perth
Awakening to a wonderful misty southwest morning we rise to the sights of kangaroos and emus which are abundant in the area. Heading northwest, we journey to the famous wine and surfing region of Augusta & Margaret River. The spectacular limestone coast winds its way to the mouth of the Margaret River and Surfers Point. Nearby, waves from the Indian Ocean, wash onto pristine beaches, home of the world famous WA Masters Surf Championships.

After lunch, we enjoy wine tasting at an exclusive winery, next stop; we visit one of the vast networks of caves in the region.

Then it’s Busselton Jetty, for a look at the longest piled wooden jetty in the Southern Hemisphere.
